The whole theme of identity is even supported when Byakuya and Renji fight and Byakuya explains that Renji's bankai is incomplete and that bankai is a reflection/embodiment of the true identity/soul of that Soul Reaper, its why bankai takes so long to learn and perfect, because its not about its power, its about coming to terms completely with who you really, truly are deep down, having to take a long, hard look in the mirror with no secrets, no shame, only complete acceptance of yourself and the source of your power. Its why it takes til the end of the first arc we got of Thousand Year Blood War to see Ichigo go through that process, and why Everything But The Rain is the single most important part of the story of Bleach bar none. Its so expertly written when you can look at the big picture and see how Tite Kubo wrote this as almost a philosophical piece about the identity and acceptance of self at its very core

This made me tear up, thanks. I feel like many people who don't understand Ichigo either didn't pay attention to the series or don't want to take the time to go to an in-depth review about him to understand him fully. While this doesn't cover everything about him, I feel this is the best video for people to understand Ichigo in a vacuum. The editing, music choices, script, your delivery on the script, etc, are all perfect. I feel the conciseness of the video along with how well everything else flows together will allow more people to understand and feel for him. This part doesn't relate to this video but I also want to thank you for being real about your experience with Bleach and not shying away from some issues that you had with bleach and one's the series had. This is probably tied with my favorite Bleach video (I have bias towards the other which was me in the crowd of the first screening of TYBW in the US before its official release date to the public)
