I personaly think reaching the river might be one of the objectives of Ukraine. Its much easier for them to hold the river than open ground.

@@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone i believe russian telegram blogger svoboda was complaining ukraine is cleaning up korenovo now and will move up and hit rylsk from the south and from the west from the ukrainian border.

@@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone rylsk is tactically important as its on high ground. and there is a river north of it making it easier to defend if the bridges are blown making it difficult for russia to cross. also they have access to the e38 highway.

The bridge near Samarka isn’t about Russians sending men in. It is about Ukraine preventing Russian forces getting out.
@graemes522 ай бұрын
Its a shallow minor river the Russian have built a pontoon bridge over it already, so its all quite irrelevant.

*"Sejm"* River is the bigger of the two. Can't believe Russian Forces are retreating from inside Russia. Very inpressive prisoner hauls by Ukraine against Russia tho yes absolutely. All of these *"mil bloggers"* is something very much new as well... something i am most definitely *NOT* as i am not over there don't speak the language am not at all an expert on military matters having finished my service in 1999 etc. does have *MAJOR* market impacts this War tho hence my interest.

Also, I have a query for you. Russia deployed troops and equipment from Kharkiv and Luhansk. Doesn't this suggest that their "infinite" supply of equipment is dwindling?

Okay so what if they are advancing some in Kursk? All that the world heard from Ukraine virtually every single day of this war since it started is we want the Donbass back, we want the Donbass back, we want the Donbass back a thousand times over. But now that they have diverted all these forces to Kursk they have arbitrarily decided after all these years basically "Ooops well we actually we really don't care about whether we lose the Donbass area to the Russians after all. We really want to conquer Kursk!" They could have just negotiated with the Russians to start with and ceded eastern Ukraine to them. And saved hundreds of thousands of lives. And when the 47th Russian tank division finally arrives from the east won't the Ukrainian's possibly be forced to divert allot of these forces they are attacking with west back east again to face the oncoming Russian forces from that direction? Would it not make much more sense for them to use all their available forces to fortify their newly acquired eastern flanks to face that possible oncoming onslaught? So where is the logic in any of their strategy in any of this maneuvering to the west and north-west?! Sorry I just don't understand any of the logic in their strategy!

Well, if we reach a point where there is peace talks, what will Russia trade to get Russian territory back? Territory in the Donbas perhaps? As for preventing people from dying, Russia can fix that problem by going home and ending the war. As for Ukraine keeping up the fight... should Russia not have fought on after Germany totally wrecked Russia in Operation Barbarosa?
