It’s Ring Of The Hawk season 4 and like Top10wrestling, I’m back with another banger. This week it’s the final run of Kurt angle in the wwe before he retired. A very sad time for the hawk to have to watch. But we must complete the career of Perc angle otherwise we shall all get punches to the gut.

I know he did well for someone of his age and condition, but it was kind of depressing seeing how rigid and immobile Angle was in his final run, especially compared to how he moved even a few years earlier. From what I understand Angle himself attributed this to him spending to long away from the ring when he rejoined the company and him not wrestling frequently enough to properly loosen up and get back into the swing of things once he started having matches again.

you its pretty amazing how quickly wrestlers stop taking bumps and lose all resistance to them. undertaker is a perfect example. to be honest though Angle was getting noticeably slower and more formulaic in the ring from 2013 onwards.considering all his injuries before pro wrestling , during and all the crazy bumps he did on top of his drug/alcohol issues its a miracle he still walk , let alone put on matches is 2019 even if they wernt very good. tbh im just really happy he seems healthy and is enjoying his retirement and his podcast is going well. at one point it seemed like he was gonna be another statistic now hopefully he lives a long life.

I'm one of the few people who love Corbin and what not but I agree with you to an extent. If they had Angle lose to Corbin when he wasn't in his crybaby constable role, when he was still using his NXT gimmick and a legitimate threat. Angle losing to him would have been valid because Corbin did have a solid gimmick and shit before he became management's gimp it felt like he was being booked somewhat similar to Ortons legend killer gimmick and destroying Angle while under that gimmick would have legitimized Corbin. Idk im an idiot and am only going by feeling

I was Supposed to Wrestle/ Work a Dark Match in Columbus,Ohio Raw, 1998... He was So Polite and Kind to me.. This was when he was Only doing Dark Matches... That Night plans changed and Robert Roode were 7 hrs , from Canada...( Home) It was 830 pm and Tony Gorea Ran up to us and asked us to do 7 min Dark Match! Rudy and I ran to get dressed and I RUSHED down the Hall to the Dressing Room as HHH was coming out... I took him out ! I was Scared Shitless I explained who we were and Who I was Connected to etc...😋 He was So Supportive and Kool..said " Good Luck " We were watched by Stone Cold, HHH, THE Rock. Undertaker .. We pulled off a Very Decent Match and The Boys didnt Crap on us..The Dudleye were So Kind after.. Roode and I impressed and were given The office Business Cards with Private Contact Numbers.. Invited to do more Matches.. 😎

I'm convinced the reason they had Elias dump Jeff out before #3 could even enter was because they wanted to keep interactions between Kurt and Jarrett to as few as possible. But just imagine how cool that would have been, one of the most heated rivalries in TNA history getting an epilogue in the Rumble Also, I was at Mania 35 and saw Kurt's final match (for now), and the match was very, very weird. I think Angle's post-match promo was meant to try and get a pop from the crowd, but even after that we were all just silent (apart from saying You Suck, because nobody can resist doing that)

I do not consider Kurt's "last wwe run" as cannon as far as I'm concerned he left wwe on a high note in 2006 and then went to have an epic tna run
