It’s time to find out if Dean Ambrose/Moxley can do the JoB to The Hawk! This was FCw before he was famous! But the question is was it obvious that he would be a star from this developmental run? Let’s find out!
To view Diva Search 2005, Hernandez 2023 interview, Sid in ECW, Raquel Brikked, Brock Lesnar in New Japan and other exclusive interviews:

It's wild the sheer amount of talent there was in FCW around this time. This is right before NXT became a thing. Seeing Cesaro, Roman, Seth, Mox, Bray, etc is kinda nuts. The mix of young wwe guys with upside and indie darlings with huge star power potential.

Right after the feud with Regal, they actually were gonna call Ambrose up to the main roster. He had some dark matches and WWE was impressed. Enough so that WWE filmed Ambrose attacking Foley at the WM hotel and it was gonna kick off what would have been Foley's final run. While training, Foley got a bad concussion, and WWE decided not to clear Foley. So Ambrose ended up being stuck in sort of a limbo doing WWE live events and occasional FCW appearances until the Shield idea came up.

He had a kinda son of the Undertaker gimmick from what i've heard. An entertaining one is Santana Jackson. He is currently in Future Stars of Wrestling, he's a Michael Jackson impersonator from the Vegas/LA area. His finisher is the moonwalk DDT. He also had a run-in with Disco Inferno/the Goober Glen Gilberti [definitely not gifted] where Disco tries to give him shit, but Santana tells Disco he sucks and is an asshole. Disco tries a beatdown, byt the Villiage People's Elbow misses and Glen gets a Moonwalk DDT

I liked his look and promos from around this time, including watching ones I hadn't seen from the indies. He had a cool style in the ring and the feud with Regal was the right way to use a legend. Gave Dean a devious edge, caps off his run looking dangerous and potential for a new Legend Killer. A titantron was made sometime before his debut that would have "Always Something" as a theme - I really was into how that one is kinda creepy but kicks up the intensity at points. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp28ZWB7fayJrbM He was big enough in WWE but I don't think we ever saw that level of unhinged heel that he previously was, he could definitely have been the next Punk. Also very cool to see where the future was going to be on the main roster here in 2011, right before these guys came up in 2012. Almost everyone was on their way up (or back in Bray's case) including my boy Sandow.

@@ogshingo6912 The majority of his matches have a ton of time spent outside the ring, he bleeds way too much (so much so that multiple wrestlers have called it out in promos), his offense looks like shit most of the time, and he looks terrible cosmetically. The Ambrose prime Shield years are, IMO, by far his best in ring years. His character work was also much better then than now. All he is now is some strange, gravel-voiced, over-promising, under-delivering wack job. I still believe that somewhere in Moxley there's a guy that can actually wrestle I just doubt we ever see that again.

Year late I know but according to Mox his promo game was kinda mediocre in FCW because he didn’t want to cut a great promo just to have it be given to someone else on the main roster apparently. Not to mention WWE were likely pissing themselves after watching his past promos, especially the sick guy promo so he likely knew WWE wouldn’t let him cut those promos anyway. I just wish this Ambrose was the one we actually got on the main roster rather than wacky ass Dean Ambrose, he really should’ve been a star because of WWE, not despite it being

Will you do Kenny Omega in Deep South Wrestling for Ring of the Hawk?

I don't understand why people think Kenny is a decent wrestler. The way he sells, especially when he lying on the floor waiting g for a top rope move, is just ridiculous. I can't takehim seriously after seeing that

@@howardsimcox5596 i’m not a kenny omega fan but i think he’s pretty talented, and if you can somehow find Kenny Omega vs. Kota Ibushi at DDT Peter Pan 2012 I think that might change your opinion. It’s my favorite match of his, but if you don’t like that one, his wrestling style just might not be for you🤷‍♂️
