Here again to see this amazing podcast. I actually was watching it with my friend who is in another country. We just loved it! Seeing Kurt Angle brought back so many great childhood memories when my dad and I watched WWF/WWE. The Attitude Era and the birth of Raw and SmackDown! Oh man, it was just amazing. And hearing his story about the politics, how wrestling was then and how it is now. My dad and I watch documentaries and hearing some we just cry at what these men and women had gone through. And hearing about the addiction that he had... My father has been sober for almost 40 years, I have never seen him drunk or doing drugs. And to see Kurt doing so much better and feeling better himself as a whole just brings a huge smile on my face. God Bless him! And thank you for bringing up the opioid epidemic. I work in Health Insurance under customer service and hearing customers complain about their painkillers (hydrocodone, oxycodone, vicoden) being denied at their pharmacy when it's Medicare trying to make sure that there is no one abusing these medications. And I don't think many people do believe that this is a serious crisis that can be fixed. Granted, it will take some time; but we can fix this and find ways to help end this epidemic. Jon, as usual, amazing episode! Love you, your family, and your beautiful dogs! Keep it up and I can't wait to see next weeks episode.

Great episode, thank you for this Jon. I didn't know you had this show until I saw this. What a back story, the Angle family, I never knew any of that as I never watched professional wrestling.

Kurt Angle was an amazing draw growing up - he was always one of my favorites and I've never laughed so hard on some promos as Kurt Angle's - The gold medals, the milk truck, broken fricken neck, you suck!! - Dude is a legend and beat the legends... On another note...WTF is Jon wearing?????

John.Bernthal is one of my fav actors since the walking dead. Remember b4 the punisher and all his other movies I actually talked to him on Twitter once..cool dude and great actor

To hear a badass like Jon Bernthal, acknowledge someone else as being a tough guy really says something, especial his father-in-law Mark Angle. 💪

You DO realize he's talking to an Olympic wrestling gold medalist, right...of COURSE he's going to acknowledge Kurt as being the alpha, who wouldn't???🤣🤣🤣
@pablosanhueza52902 жыл бұрын
@@thebeast9606 uh, I think you meant Mark angle :D either way you are right! it is natural he would consider Mark to be the alpha

@@pablosanhueza5290 Maybe I was mistaken on who the initial poster meant, but I was referring to John being taking the beta role when around Kurt as well.

I’ve yet to hear from any Olympic or world champion wrestler of Kurt Angle’s caliber that didn’t teach me a ton about not only the sport of wrestling, but life and being a better man or person. So much gold in this great men’s life experience. And unrelated note but I am elated women’s wrestling is now a thing. Watching my Neice grow up having fun in the sport and grow a love for it
