FABULOUS !!! His VERY BEST artistic performance. Sandra Bezic choreographed this and Kurt skated it to PERFECTION. Probably the last time it will be seen as Kurt is retiring in 2023. Thanks for all the wonderful performances Kurt, we will miss you greatly.

Actually it was just single axels and double toe loops.

I know, but it's still great to see...considering that that point in life he had already been through cancer 3 times.

@@frankiefelinesalwayswelcom5825 you're right I was, but that's because I wrote this 5 months ago, and didn't rewatch the video before replying. Still, if one is doing something when they reach advanced years, especially if they don't continue to perform, it's great to see.

@sjwpg Thank you! June sets a goal / a wish to each competition / ice show. This time at the ice show, his goal/wish was (direct quote) "I hope you feel and enjoy my passion for skating and that pass on to so your heart." I'm glad and "of course always proud" he achieved his goal and wish! Yes, Bring Him Home was mind blowing. June loved that piece as well. 😉

Crazy, right? As a fan, it was an easy decision to fly to Victoria for these shows, so it's crazy that people in the area didn't flock there (especially since there's enough interest in skating that SOI makes Victoria an annual stop). I think the skating club had a limited budget for marketing, and the word just didn't get out. Most of the audience was friends/family of the skaters.
