Many years ago I bought front row seats for my wife, her mother and myself to see Stars on Ice. My MIL loved Elvis and was really into ice skating. At the end of his routine, she called him over and being a good sport he skated over to a fan. Expecting just a hug, he embraced her but she lip locked him instead. After an embarrassingly long kiss, Elvis pulled away and swiped his hand across his forehead. As he skated away, he turned and blew her a kiss.

Oh how I love these guys. They are from my era. I used to skate at Eastland Mall in Charlotte NC. Got to see Dorothy Hamil perform there. Kristy Yamagoochie, Scot Hamilton. I’m a big fan. Please shout out if you are from Charlotte NC and remember the rink at Eastland Mall. Memory lane!!! 😊

I haven’t seen Elvis is a long time. I saw him on Stars On Ice in 1995, and he’s fantastic in person. I’m gonna miss Kurt so much. I grew up watching him as a teenager in the late 1980’s and throughout the 1990’s. Like Michelle Kwan who won lots of World Championships, Kurt who also won lots of World Championships, doesn’t need to win Olympic gold medals to be the best skater in the world. 🫶🏼👏🏼👍😪🙏🏼
