Cobain was the epitome of the ultimate middle finger to MTV. Not to mention Kurt hated being told what to do by people he didn't know or agree with... Loved it. A prime example is when he was set to perform the hit song "Smells like teen Spirit" but during the time MTV wanted him to lip sync! Kurt would not have that! Which is why he performed his own "shred video." Smells like teen Spirit, can't deny great song. Kurt purposefully butchered that song basically. It was funny as hell and extremely satisfying. Not to mention being the biggest metaphorical middle finger to MTV.... History. Makes you wonder if he was worth more alive than dead....

You can scream out of tune like a maniac only if you’re a rock star. We all eat it up. These guys are having fun and inviting us for intimate moments with them to cut up and joke and just be. These guys are amazing.

Wish I would have got to make at least one of their shows...Nirvana was the first band that really grabbed me by the boo boo...authentic, simple, real, raw, painful, healing, sad, and amazingly satisfying all at the same time ....I genuinely felt loss when I found out he was dead...hell I even cried, ....no other songwriter, or band has ever done that for me since, ...well except for perhaps the pixies....and the xx when I discovered them years Ago..but Nirvana and Kurt's talent were and still are un matched.
