If you're a regular user, a large amount won't necessarily kill you, especially if someone can get to you fast enough with a reversal. Assuming things like Narcan existed then? Anyway, shooting himself after using makes perfect sense to me if you want yo make quite sure of the outcome. And the H may have given him the sense of peace enough to do it, in that moment. Also, shooting yourself after shooting up has quite a poetic feel to it, which could appeal to an artist in mental health crisis. "Shot through the heart and you're to blame, you give Love a bad name" just popped into my head. Nice.

Not really... Kurt struggled with stomach problems which got him into heroin in the first place. After a while even the heroin couldn't alleviate his stomach pain... he also hated himself and was suicidal since he was a teenager. Imagine you become a junkie, but your stomach pain is still there and so you realise you became a junkie with absolutely 0 benefit/relief from the drug anymore. Your daughter was taken away from you once because of your usage too, so you have abandoned her like your parents abandoned you, you have become the thing you hate most. Very likely he had these thoughts while on heroin and acted on it (not the first time he had done an attempt either).

Courtney’s friend Cali was seen around their home right before Kurt’s death or before his body had been found. Cali was also their nanny and close friend and considered to be a third party to the case.

I've always felt like he was cleaning up because he wanted a divorce and custody of Frances, he didn't care about the money and stuff he just loved his kid so much, Courtney knew she was going to loose her Cash cow if he got custody, so she planned with a friend to get him hooked again, to stop the divorce or him getting custody it didn't matter, the money was the goal. Things took a turn so they figured out how to make it benefit Courtney. The saddest thing is a kid lost their dad that day and has had the cameras on her because of who he was. And because of that her rocky relationship with her mum was open to the public.

He got himself hooked on heroin. He was a grown man making his own decisions. She arranged the intervention and got him into rehab. There were several interventions. No one close to him denies he had a habit and he wasn't willing to quit. He chose to walk out of rehab less than 2 days of entering. He loved his kid so much that he (actually both of them) were shooting up in hotel rooms with other people while Frances was lying in the bed. He was off his nut, nodding off while Frances was sitting on his knee getting a haircut. Kurt was a good artist but let's not paint him as some kind of saint. He was messed up and made huge mistakes (one was marrying Courtney) but his drug use was his choice and his responsibility.

I know right, I could definitely see maybe she wanted something from him and didn’t necessarily help the building problems, but all three people felt guilt and sorrow for his death according to Ant, and personally the energy I’m picking up on is “I want this but I’m used to not getting what I want, my whole life is about not getting what I want/deserve” on both ends, not “I’m gonna do whatever it takes to get it”. You got it as usual. The day they found his body, I and my friends were on our way from MD to VA for a Pearl Jam concert. It’s still 1 of the eeriest shows I’ve ever been to. They almost cancelled. There’s a ton of speculation that Courtney Love had him killed but I never believed it. The fact is, he was addicted to heroin, among other stuff, for a very long time. He ran away from an inpatient rehab a few days before his body was found. It was a heartbreaking, gut wrenching end for an insanely talented musician. I’ve always felt sorriest for their daughter. She was so so young when he died. Courtney Love was a mess. Francis ended up obtaining emancipation from her during her teen years I believe. To this day, it still makes me sad when I think about him.

Courtney hired a private investigator to find Kurt who had been missing for some days. His "friend" led the PI to the homes they owned in California and Seattle to look for him because Courtney was on tour or in some rehab out of state at the time. That same "friend" was the one who brought Kurt the shotgun he used to kill himself. Courtney was in control of who the PI corresponded with and delegated this guy to assist the PI because he knew Kurt the most. Supposedly Kurt was to be found that night they checked the Seattle home, but because it was night and raining, the PI could not see that there was a garden room above the garage. That's when Courtney ordered service, mid search, to have security lighting installed...thus having the electrician finding Kurt's body. Instead of calling the police first, Courtney ordered the guy to call radio stations and alert the media instead. A faulty investigation and crime scene concluded due to media interference. Kurt was in the process of filing for divorce and having Courtney removed from his will...but with the timing of his death she inherited his entire estate.

Sloan Bella did a reading on this and she picked up that Kurt felt very betrayed by Kourtney because she cheated on him with everyone close to them. When Kourtney was mentioned, just her name, he got super fucking sad. Just so sad, hurt, and disappointed with Kourtney. He also said that he didn't wanna talk about his death, like, he doesn't wanna know how it was set up or why it happened or anything but that 2 people were there, and they overdosed him, hoping he'd die. When he took too long to go, they shot him and tried to make it look like a suicide. Either way it was a set up, he just doesn't wanna know who did it. The record label put a lot of pressure on him, as they wanted Nirvana to keep being Nirvana, but Kurt wanted to go in a different direction and wanted to break away from this contract. So he was trying to divorce Kourtney, and trying to get his shit together to legally fight the label. When he did crazy shit like the rehab thing, he was hoping they'd be embarrassed of him and just drop him but nothing worked. I can't remember exactly but someone from the label, or one of his like band members or both, like I said I can't remember, had something to do with Kourtney and the set up. Like everyone was fucking Kourtney and doing what she wanted. But somehow the label was involved too? It was honestly blurry there to me. But he said he follows Kourtney and Francis in their lives, and that with Kourtney, he's "gonna have the last laugh." Sloan said she didn't know what that meant but that's what he said.

You had so much compassion in your voice at the end of this.💕 Doesn’t seem to have changed many minds though in terms of the “he was murdered” angle. I’m trying to think how it could have played out such that there wasn’t murderous intent but more tragedy - maybe she just up and said she wouldn’t care if he killed himself and he ended up actually doing it, and she feels guilt for that? Maybe she was getting high with him and he OD’ed, and she didn’t call for help or was too high to? Maybe she implied to someone more deadly than she’d assumed that she wanted him gone and it was done, when she didn’t mean it that way? As for conspiracy theories the way the cops were so willing to sweep stuff under the rug and buy whatever spin was happening instead of finding out what it was that really happened - there’s no shortage of those to be found there.

It frustrates me when people say OH HE WAS CLEAN - how could you possibly know that? How do you know his mental state? Heroin addicts rarely are clean forever. Sadly once an addict always an addict. If you are a fan of his music it speaks for itself. Kurt was a severely depressed individual with mental health issues and struggling with addiction. He also catapulted to fame, which can have it's own implications on the brain and coping mechanisms. No one killed him, he was over life, didn't want to get clean and wanted to tap out. It's really sad.

Courtney and Kurt’s manager (Callie?)told the detective false information about the greenhouse when he went to look for him. He said it was a “storage room” despite having lived in it at one point. At the time he lied to the detective they were at the house and Kurt was dead inside. I watched a 5 hour documentary on KZbin so many years ago idk if I’d be able to find it.

Because Tom has a lot of info on Courtney that she wouldn't want the public to know. Trust me. I asked Tom Grant this question a fee months ago on a YT livestream w/Tom Grant being interviewed. He gave us a few details, and he has the actual physical evidence of Courtney's guilt in Kurt's death. Tom played a recording of Courtney STATING that sge & Kurt WERE in the process of a divorcd. Tom Grant has many, many recordings of everything shady CL said while she was "looking for Kurt", right before Kurt's death.
