One of the most beautiful songs composed by Jerome Kern. Did you know that is was originally a " throwaway piece " for Tap Dancers---Hard to believe,isn't it. I'm sure that if Jerome Kern was alive,he would love this version by Kurt---It's MAGNIFICENT & A WONDERFUL CLIP===THANK YOU

The original lyric includes the words: “So I chaffed them.” Elling sings instead: “So I chafed them.” I realise that the original lyric is not great. But I cannot for the life of me see what Elling is trying to achieve with this substitution.
