Then came to the struggling Lakers to help them win 4 NBA Championships 1982, 1985, 1987, and 1988. After Kurt left the Lakers after the 1988 title, Lakers went on a 12 year championship drought.

Your right on the money. In the beginning he was laughed at buy by the end of the 82 season he was getting standing ovations. He earned it the hard way against forwards 20 to 30 lbs heavier then he was and a head taller then he was. these were impossible tasks that he performed really well considering.
