The Knicks at one point had a 3-2 lead on the Rockets and their guards were outplaying the Rockets guards but Ewing lost the duel against Hakeem throughout the series and it cost them.

For me the one thing that made this era more exciting to watch, was because of the intense rivalries that were legendary.
