Haven’t thought of that… I guess each video is a day in the shop, maybe 3-5 hours each so around 24-30 hours?

Now that you have removed (ground) material of the vise bed and shortened the distance from the lead screw center line to everything else, does that have any effect on its operation?

I haven’t noticed a difference, however, I’m pretty new to all this so my skills aren’t yet at the point where I would be a good judge. The overall height measurements after grinding are rather consistent so I think it’s all good.

I have no idea what those jaws are for… they are huge. For my use I’m going with the regular Kurt Jaws.
