I'm still trying to learn Tagalog from my wife, but it's hard because it sounds like she's talking a thousand words a minute lol. The other problem is the slang. A lot of the words she uses is shortened so in stead of using the actual word for something she's saying she uses shortened words with a mixture of English which I call Tagalish lol. I tried using a learning app to learn Tagalog but in reality most don't speak Tagalog formally like what the app teaches.
