Yep. But he is not a bad guy. He's still young and he is just enjoying his life because he can. He's a real cosmopolitan. I like that about him, it's absolutely atypical for a german guy. So I like it every time he says he is from South Africa and not from Germany. I also know why he's doing that and I find it cool. He said in one of his videos that he doesn't feel German at all. He knows well how difficult, tedious and one-dimensional the Germans are...

@Herbert Sattelmeier you commented the same "oh he has a lot of money he wasnt built from scrapes" shit under several comments you clearly envy him but you hide it behind your german bashing nonsense. Germans are respected worldwide but you're acting like a victim. In france a lot of people like to have the germans as an exemple to look up to ... btw i have lived 2 years in germany and have very good friends over there who are travelling a lot and we had this dicussion. Although it's true people tend to make jokes about the bad part of german history they are simply not affected by what you said because they don't have that victim mentality. Kurt goes to latin american countries that some have a history of hosting some of the former SS which gave bad reputation to the counrty over there and they know germany just by name, if it's easier for him to make acquaintances introducing himself with his other nationality then why you care so much 🤡

Hey Kurt, I'm a huge fan of your videos. I'm not able to travel and love seeing these fascinating things along your travels. Have you ever thought about coming and doing some videos in the United States? I'm in North Carolina and believe it would be awesome to see you come to the US.
@jonathanfildes220 Жыл бұрын
Love your videos, mate. However, the 'coffee' that you were drinking was milk tea. Thailand has great coffee in the north. Next time you visit Thailand, I would recommend venturing off to the north provinces like Lampang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, etc.... Keep up the good work, cheers!

Bubble Tea is a dessert 😂 I wouldn't even classify it as tea. Even the non-milk "tea" is sugar and water with jelly

Kurt wtg! After living in Colombia for 4 years... I visited Germany and I was spitting out spanish words every sentence LOL. Keep living the dream dude! And yes all over the place no one says nothing until Thailand - All of a sudden like 10 different random people recognize you. Know this, you are inspiring many more travelers than you give yourself credit for : )

I was there in 95 I was paying 50p a night for my beach hut on koh Chang and £1 for an ounce of Thai grass, I hear tourism has spoilt a lot of it but I still plan to return in two years when I retire to see how it’s changed..I loved Bangkok it’s the best city in the world 🌎 ❤

Koh Chang is still my favourite Island. A lot less tourists than the other well known ones. Koh Kood which is about an hour boat from Koh Chang is the place to go if you don’t want to see to many tourists and to experience a lovely island. To me, that’s proper Thailand.
@recom273 Жыл бұрын
Yup .. unless you visited in the 90s - you could also say the 80s, 70s and 60s - you would have no idea. The weed was never really cheap for me in the late 90s, but like you say a quid a night for bamboo hut, the roads in the beach villages were just sand, those days are long gone, never to return.
