You should check out Soak me in bleach by them. That one is my favorite, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their songs.

Fire in my skin, water in my lungs. You were right to have heard water and fire, just two different descriptions of the pain, suffering, and helplessness

Theyre a great band, glad youre finding them. Theyre a nice blend of melodic and heavy with powerful lyrics.

Here's is the actual short version context and meaning behind the song by the band : “We called it Pittsburgh because at Warped Tour 2013 Joel had a seizure, just from drinking too much and being too hot - it was really hot. I think he wrote the song about the way he was feeling after that situation . Joel came up with [the video] concept to have lots of water involved, like the feeling of drowning"

One of my all time favorite bands. They recently dropped an EP I think last month. You should check put Like Love, absolutely a banger and another deep meaning behind the song. I love every album and song from this band

You are going to love their songs! I’m so glad that you started off with their older music and work your way up to their new stuff. I haven’t heard this song in probably a few year and hearing it now I’m like wow. They have made a lot of progress through out the years but also staying true to their brand as a band.

Joel does the screaming and ahren the bassist does the clean vocals. Joel actually does actually sing in a couple songs. A good one is drag the lake. Check out that song. You'll love it I swear. Another song with the choir is all fucked up.

This band is amazing and I love their music The chorus is describing the feeling of having a panic attack Your blood pressure sky rockets and makes your body feel like it's on fire and you're hyperventilating (breathing so fast) to the point that you feel like you aren't getting any air (you literally feel like you are drowning on dry land) and your thoughts are moving so fast with things like "I can't go on" "this has to end" "you are worthless" "no one wants you"

Back when Pittsburgh was my favorite song by TAA, it was the first posthardcore band that put me onto other bands i could say this band has gotten me through some stuff. Also i'm preety sure i used to say the lyrics to the song like : I have killed my friends and now i understand or at the very least for a fat minute i thought those were the lyrics
