Kuryakyn Road Thunder First Impressions - Is it Loud Enough??

Plex audio only has a 100w difference from the Kuraykyn road thunder and because it’s only 2 speakers as opposed to 4 it’s technically not as loud. We did tests in my shop. It is ugly though. Ultimately for best quality Lexin in helmet would be best, but then no one else can hear.

The fact that you can't hear external audio through your full face helmet is not a negative towards the helmet, it's actually a positive for the helmet. Like you said, maybe it's better to just add speakers in the helmet. Stay safe out there Papa 🙏

Negative towards the sound bar, but great for my Ruroc. I usually ride with my Speed Bandit when I'm on the Sporty.

I have the soundbar on my bike and I can hear it ok at highway speed only if I flip open my visor. I like having the controls on the unit. Thought about adding a few speaker pods to it but probably will go to a plex eventually

I just tried it! You will need a volume boost app on your phone and its no good while riding....but....when you stop to take a break its dope! Best route quality ear buds lol!

Ot even close to loud enough. I have a windshield and over 45mph I can’t hear Jack! Don’t waste your cash. I took it off and can’t give it away. CRAP! I bought a BT Headset instead. It kicks ass. Don’t waste your money.

They do sound good but doesn’t last very long and they won’t warranty it $600 dollars of junk
