It's 2009 and this year would be the calm before the storm for Wiz Khalifa's career. Wiz was already buzzing with his work to this point but with the release of Kush and Orange Juice in April of 2010 he would take the internet by storm.

The very first time I’ve heard Wiz Khalifa was the song called Say Yeah. I remembered seeing it on MTV Jams video of the week. From that day I’ve always became a fan of the music. When he dropped Kush & OJ, it made me a huge fan and it kinda helped me start my stoner lifestyle. His music was like a whole soundtrack of those years

That amazes me man. I never considered what it was like to be a little kid in the late 2000s. I was 19 when it dropped and I just got my first car. Me and my plug would hotbox blunts in my Toyota Celica and one day he made me take out the kid cudi cd so he could put me on to someone one with a weird name I never heard. Man we played kush and oj over and over that spring and summer. Rest in peace to my boy Slick!

I was a freshman in high school when this tape dropped and I was completely anti weed until I listened to this tape 😂 Wiz made smoking weed sound like the greatest shit in the world lol I had this tape on repeat that whole summer on my little MP3 player and then later on my iPod touch. Actually he was recording BAR the title song plus a couple other joints. Real Taylors know what’s up with kushxoj Been a fan since POTC in 2005.
