I am in a long distance marriage with my husband for the last 1.5 years. Moved to another country one month after our marriage because of my career (better job, more salary etc). It almost always comes up with his family or my family and they keep asking me to come back to be with my husband as well as allude to the sacrifice he is making for my career. I’m made to feel apologetic about my career. Thankfully, my husband is SUPER supportive however if the tables had been turned and roles reversed, people would be lauding the guy for his professional achievements.
