That was a false start

Carlsbad's #17 stepped out of bounds before his touchdown run. The false start should have been called. I blame officiating not the players. The loss must've been tough to swallow for the Crusaders they looked flat in their next two games. However they rebounded after the break and won another state championship.

The referees should have seen that was #7 had jumped offsides.. that is why the Crowed is Booing… Tough loss for the home team…

@@ldp3899 Yeah but it was like 1/50th of a second before the ball was snapped, so BFD. Refs in HS games don't have/use instant replay, and very few refs are going to catch that. Besides, he was wide open for that catch, MD wasn't close to getting that pass, so even if there was no offsides he'd still have caught it. Take your loss like a man.

BS. I was there at the game. Were you? My friends and I didn't see any false start. The refs didn't see it. Maybe you have Superman vision, but most people don't. The reason you hear the MD fans booing, is because they're sore losers. And no, the "whole" stadium didn't see it. Unless you took a poll, you're just spouting off. You're just angry that Carlsbad pulled off a trick play on your Loser Team.

@@robertjensen1048 yeah, I was there and saw the fall start from the stands. The video playback in real time makes it even more obvious. The TE knows he jumped as well. I don't support either team but am a fan of HS football. My kids go to Olympian.

No, it was a trick play and MD fell for it.

@@robertjensen1048 not even close. Blown coverage by the MLB. Empty backfield and he never slid over to cover the TE once he released. Great play call, even tho the TE should have been called for a false start.

No 7 Jumped before the ball was snapped good catch however but the refs missed the call big time..... freeze frame it.... his left hand comes up and he is moving and the ball is still on the ground.
