I'm curious how divisions work. I looked up d3 championship to see the difference in ability. Is it basically that d1 is elite d2 is next level and d3 is the next? And how does one get into d3? You can't cut it in d2? Not trying to be funny just wondering

@@hb3528 It’s not about can’t cut it that is for sure! That is silly! Football is football! There are guys that have and are playing in the NFL from D3. For example, London Fletcher. (LB-Rams,Redskins), Ken Anderson(QB-Bengals), Fred Jackson(DB- Bills), Sam Mills(LB- Saints); etc. Some have Super Bowl rings as well. D3 don’t offer athletic scholarships. More about academics, yet still having an opportunity to participate in athletics. Everyone has their own story. Mine consist of being on a high school team that wasn’t so good. Which lead to a lack of exposure. A team that consisted of individuals and not team players. I was planning to walk on at UCincinnati. But, one of my high school coaches advised me to go another route. I enjoyed my 4 years! I earned my degree and was looking to extend my athletic career until I was injured my senior year against Mount Union. My cousin is B. Snell (former D3 RB for Ohio Northern). Whose son is currently a RB for the Pittsburgh Steelers. D3 is not a horrible route to take and it definitely does not lack talent on that level. Football is football.

D3 football is great Mount Union has been the big dog since I played they never quit and battled back like the Championship program that they are. Everyone needs to watch this great football.

Refs usually don't call that holding anymore, especially near the end of a game. Like basketball refs in football will sometimes swallow the whistle.

A bigger miss call was at 2.34 minutes in the game with 3rd and 8. And it was right in front of the ref and the Quarterback got the yardage because of it. Not good at all.
