City of San Diego moves to relocate, shrink Campland on the Bay

What next? Turn all of Mission Bay back into marshland? Get rid of the zoo and Balboa Park and restore it back to the way it was in the 19th century?

Moving the campground to where the mobile homes were makes little sense the mobile home park is a blank slate how did the plan to do the project in a way that will be the most work and cause the biggest environmental toll end up the top choice? Take the west end of the mobile home park and make a wetlands since it is already a no wake area in front of campland and is close to the existing wetlands, add the east end of the empty Mobile Home Park to the public swimming cove connecting it to the existing parklands and leave campland where it is to avoid a major engineering project to reengineer and relocate everything..

Nancy and Nark Zettler at Mission Bay RV park have single handedly help ruin the resort! Alcoholism, strained relationships with guests and more. This year, They canceled many of the reservations for long term stays, some have been coming annually for years, to accommodate short term guests and increased rates! Campland and Mission Bay RV park are not long for San Diego! #Gelfant

@@blackcatstudios5165, it’s just funny you think they would put some kind of low income housing on the bay like that. That’s already what was there and they removed it. Beside, who do you think, “they” are? It’s city land. It’s not going to become some public housing project. You live in an alternate reality.
