Most all the land in the US is privately owned, so unless someone can afford to pay the outrageous camping ground fees (or even afford the time off), it's generally not feasible for the majority of the population.

My wife and three daughters really enjoy watching your videos. We will usually sit down at night and play one of your videos and find it very relaxing. We also learn a lot from watching you. That's a clever way of getting oxygen to your fire. I cheat and keep a telescoping, steel tube in my fire kit. Or, if I'm car camping and using an inflatable mattress, I bring along a pump for inflating the mattress that can also be used to do the same thing like the tubes, but turned up to 11.

I wear insect repellant which helps a lot. Without it I would get eaten alive.

I like the way you don't tell us what you're making... I thought you were making an ember transporter, similar to what Aborigine's carry in Australia. Who'd have thought a match-box... I figured out the blow tube from the moment you mentioned the storm clouds and begun splitting the branch. I could watch this stuff all day.. I have ideas of my own for developing a sustainable food source. Trout, water fowl ect.. Rabbits and Squirrels are too easy. Rub peanut butter on your boots and the Squirrels will follow you to your camp... Snare City baby!!!!

Here in Indonesia, we make a shelter for the fireplace using tree branches and leaves about 1 meter tall( or more) from the fire.. So the rain won't consume it. ..
