Yes, Lombok is a choice for a quiet trip because not many tourists go there, while Bali is a choice for those who like crowds. To be honest, I'm the type of person who likes to go on holiday to places that aren't yet well-known, but you have to understand that Lombok can't provide facilities like those in Bali, such as beach clubs / hotel. but yeah both places are quite fun, I just went there 2 weeks ago

you should trying whoosh the first fast train in south east Asia from Jakarta to come to bandung,Indonesia. Bandung is located on west Java and this is the largest population province in Indonesia with 50+ Millions people. One of the most beautiful nature you should visit in bandung is white crater. i have been to lombok around 7 years ago… before all the developments in kuta and they were just starting the construction for mandalika beach.. it was great as they just huilt a new road / high way around the island.. we were the only ones around, only locals. i really hope lombok will not fuck it up! i hope they can develop and grow naturally and with respect to nature and culture
