2 ½ cups water
1 teaspoon atsuete powder
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cup cassava starch
1 ¼ cup brown sugar OR 1 cup white sugar (if using flavocols)
1 tablespoon lye water

Too much atchuete ! the dark brown sugar would have done the job of coloring the kutchinta.

This is what I like about chef RV... he always give you the idea of "its ok to do it your own way"... its like hes just giving us here an idea and guide us but still he will insist to do what will make you happy and sarisfied...unlike other who want you to make it like what they are doing, its like they want to embed their signature to your workings... but not with chef RV, bahala ka kung saan ka masaya as long na masaya ka rin sa magiging resulta go
