I think, at least for me, it took a minute or so to recognize them as being much more than just another addition to the “salutations to Sabbath” groups that are still forming TODAY… the balls on these guys, to do this kind of music that, to someone young and dumb, and taking a first glance, could easily slough them off as’ 60s, 70s recycled rock’ and never give them a chance. They have proved to me they are way way beyond that, and if you stick around and listen to em enough, you will hear all the variables of songwriting they are capable of and pulling off. Memorable stuff, stuff you want played at your funeral etc. I’m done trying to convince anybody anymore - I’ve gotten into many arguments with silly ass nobodies. like you said, our little secret that we keep to ourselves, I’ve been playing guitar longer than these guys have been born, I live vicariously through them in a way! They are my sons, they’re more disciplined and better than I am on guitar and bass and keyboards and drums… And they write incredibly cool, versatile, amazingly chill, danceable, headbangable sounds… and I talk a lot describing them but I still haven’t said enough! they’re worth th time&words

They are not big because of the fun- happiness- music lovers - Musicians who have no interest in being a cog in the mechanism - Could Conceivably have a HUGE GATHERING where people can just be ,,BE WITHOUT harassment and Cause a Shift/ or rift rather than being controlled by the Machine of Madness - This Joint has changed so much in a negative direction???? Am I the only one who feels that??? Vibrationannly Off-?? Could someone please tell me WTF are we doing??? Self destructive? Confused about this world and are values gone? Rat race

Hell yeah they are man. All Them Witches makes me believe in the future of music. Lyrically sound, alternately mellow and screaming guitar work, thumping bass, and the sound of thunder on the drums. It doesn't get any better than this, whether it is today, tomorrow, or 30 years ago.

Incredibly talented band. LYRICS: Found all the things to eat so you ate them Stole all the tongues from the mouths of the babes Spent your life making swords for the lonely Crawled around in the woods, cutting legs from the snakes I'd sell my sister's gold Off to the mountain side I don't and I don't and I don't want to find them I just wanna live my life God bless our mother, the mountain Filled all the holes gathered in my eyes God bless our mother, the mountain Filled all the holes gathered in my eyes Yeah 'Cause I would walk forever just to know you Give me a place and I will bless these walls Show me the beast I should sing to Blood with reason clenched in your jaws I'd sell my sister's gold Off to the mountain side I don't and I don't and I don't want to find them I just wanna live my life God bless our mother, the mountain Filled all the holes gathered in my eyes God bless our mother, the mountain Filled all the holes gathered in my eyes

@Smocaine something about the drummer though.. He looks too stiff and doesn't use his wrist well.
@giljamolislagers78943 жыл бұрын
@@dudemanaric He's one of the bigger creatives of the band. He doesn't only write songs, he also makes most (if not all) of the artwork for the bands' album covers/merch/etc. Besides, he looks funny playing the drums, but does he sound bad? I don't think he does.
@dudemanaric3 жыл бұрын
@@giljamolislagers7894 he's not bad by any means maybe it's just ergonomics and the setting. I couldn't always be happy moving my kit around and around.
@giljamolislagers78943 жыл бұрын
@@dudemanaric For sure. I saw a video of him explaining why he switched to playing the kit that he does these days; it was quite interesting to see. These days he plays a comparitavely tiny kit, bcs its so much easier to travel with and set up in the right way everytime. Ergonomics might have been an issue for him on tour before he found his thing. But that's only speculation. Maybe it's just the guy's way of getting into the music haha
