That’s because here in the U.S. our aunties and little cousins who came for the party helped us washed all the pots and pans as soon as we finished cooking and preparing our dishes so everything will go smoothly. We cook and clean at the same time so when it’s time to eat everyone can eat together. And, afterwards when the party’s over we really don’t have many dishes left to wash except a few plates and bowls here and there because all the foil pans are going to the garbage except for those that are still usable. Whereas in Laos after they cooked and eat at a party like these ( not weddings or jingle bells ) everyone takes off leaving all the dishes to the family, especially the nyab to clean. And, it’s true that they should get some big tubs or build a kitchen counter for some huge sinks since they always entertaining.
