That’s why we need to live to the fullest. Don’t work way too hard. Cannot take the money with you to the grave.

They had a survey of the very sick people at the hospital about what they regret the most in their life almost all of them said they regret working too much and not spend enough time with family, friends and not taking good care of their health.

It's sad that your mom is gone, but that doesn't mean that you should want your father to mourn and be sad for the rest of his life! He at least had the decency to wait a year before finding happiness again. Be happy for him. Better that he's living life again than for him to be sad and depressed. I'm just glad that your mom was smart enough to leave each of her children some of her assets (including money) instead of leaving everything to the husband for him to end up spending everything with the new wife.

Right...sickness and death is not preventable. The mom left her kids something which is good

Here we go again, Money Vs Life. Any life, enough said on this. Such a lovely story. Yes, there is unfairness, tragedy and disappointment, but lovely respect and care for life. We give a suitcase full of love, and it comes back as only in dreams can behold. Watch as Rainbows can hold all of that matters, and it comes from the very things that gave life to all of us. Good night.

Be grateful that your father is fortunate enough to find someone to love him. It's been over a year now that my mom left us, and my poor Dad is still all by himself. I don't know about my 3 brothers, but like you and your siblings, I continued to miss my Mom and yarn for her physical presence each and every day here on earth. Like your mom, my mom was ready to go, for us, 4 kids, have our own family and are financially independent.
