I have a question. I saw a KVCore training and the trainer said that if the people are in your database and/or if they reply to a texxt code that is yours, it does not roll over to other agents on the generic smart number. What do you think?

It depends. From how I understand, if you’re the only one to have ever messaged them from kvCORE then it should come back to you. If another agent has them also in their DB and has messaged them, there’s potential for the response to go back to the other agent. May be a small chance but one I’m not willing to live with. I just assume get the custom one and not have to worry.

You don't need broker permission. You still should get permission from the listing agent. You'd do that to show your sphere you're active in the RE biz. It helps to stay top of mind. And you could help someone see a home that they may not have seen otherwise.

The smart number, is that something I can take with me if I don't use KV core anymore? Is the smart number a number I can use as business number? I just don't want to have 2 phone numbers. Your smart number is assigned to you so you can't use a different number. You can't take the smart number with you. You can use it as your business number. That's actually what I would recommend. I was hesitant about two numbers as well but so long as you explain business line vs personal line people understand. The pros outweigh the cons in my opinion.

That is a concern you’d have to consider. I’d use kvCORE for a while first and make sure that you like it before putting too much reliance in it. That said, I think it’s great and I’m sure you’ll like it. There is an app but you do not have to have it to receive calls from your smart number.

Great video. How do you get your smart number to be the main number on your KVcore account? I recently purchased a smart number and whenever I go to post to craigslist, the system is still inputting the office smart number instead of mine and then I have to manually update it with my smart number.

“I am on a team and an office. I have more than one Smart Number! Which one is used? If you navigate to your lead engine > call capture settings, you'll see your smart number being used. When you use kvCORE, the most specific Smart Number is used to communicate with your contacts. The hierarchy is Office > Team > Agent. So, if you have an Office and a Team number, the TEAM number is used. (A Team is more specific than an office.)”

Great show! I've been in RE for about a year now and haven't completed in any transactions. In terms of the "my business" page that shows the progression on prospect---> lead--->client---under contract--->closed, is there a certain ration you should expect from prospect to closed or client to closed? I've done fairly well at getting showings and listing appointments, but that's where I'm getting stuck. About 1/20 prospects turn into a client.

Depends on the source of the lead. Your sphere should result in more clients than say a Facebook lead. I try and shoot for 1 deal from every 6 sphere leads in my database per year. But these have to be people you are close with, possibly done business with in the past, and you have to market yourself to them throughout the year (ie 33 touch).

Great Video Kyle! My only question is about the smart number. I believe that it is shared by the OFFICE you are a part of, not the whole MLS. Also, leads generated on your site become your lead in KvCore and then are associated with you. So if they call the number it still goes to you. I bought my own to simply my life and it is a great boost cause then you can use it on signs and cards!

Awesome vid, super helpful as I get rocking with eXp. I did have a question, though: is your smart number separate from your business number that you would put on your business card or fb page?

If you pay for the smart number upgrade and have your own, then I would use that smart number on ALL my marketing, including business cards, social profiles, etc... This number forwards to your cell number and get's tracked in kvCORE.

I just bought something called Screen Cast Omatic which allows you to switch to a browser tab and annotate it with pens or highlighters while recording - then you have to splice that track into your main video! I am looking for something that will allow you to record a whole YT in one take and switch from webcam or mirrorless to a webpage and back without having to stop and make 5 different tracks to splice in Adobe - I will check to see if eCamm Live allows that.

One question 1. Is the issue that caused you to take the KV Core unlisted # still valid today? I heard that those issues (round housing of your info) were fixed from two years ago?

No. I believe you’ll still want to sign up for a smart number. It’s not really an issue necessarily. Has more to do with one number being assigned to the company as a whole in your area. You fix it by paying to have your own number so that when someone does respond to your marketing the lead goes directly to you versus round robin at the brokerage.

That's above my pay grade. Get with the guys over at Inside Real Estate. They are super helpful and can customize alot of solutions. I'd guess it's possible but I don't know all the technicalities.

Unfortunately, you can't delete pixels at this time. I just rename unused ones "unused". Good luck!
