Kvelertak's song "1985" is the band's way of honoring the 1980s heavy metal era. Most of the band's members have said themselves that they are fans of heavy metal from the 1980s

To be honest I don’t quite get the hype around this song. For me it is an ok song, but overrated , it’s not nearby the top 20 songs by Kvelertak as I see it. The same with the song Kvelertak. I don’t understand why they keep on playing this song as the final song of the show when they have soooo many bangers to choose from.
