Yeah, it's more about having all the important tek stuff; tek rep, tek geny, tek trasmitter, tek shield, & tek turrets. I don't think almost anyone actually builds out of tek because it's such a huge waste of element. Only people that might are super late game mega tribes or people playing with insanely boosted rates. But if you fall into either of those categories you don't need a base this size lol Also, like the other commenter said, just build it out of tek if you want it out of tek, not that hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I think I might go back to just narrating the intro little tour and then be silent for the rest of it, makes it easier to follow along and less work for me lol

I like both, mix it up with some silent builds with text tutorial then switch it up to you rambling, makes me laugh and I'll pay attention more
