I changed all 8 airbags on my 96 W900L, polyurethane motor mounts (Keep the Big Kitty stable) leaf spring hangers and pins and bushings all Automann. Good to see you again bro👍🏿. Is it better to angle the shocks ? My mechanic installed them straight up and down on a 2 spring w900l ,but I find a lot of steering wheel movement when hitting bumps . Also what pressure should I run the bags 🤔
@markengle219910 ай бұрын
I want to do something similar to a one ton truck I have. Do you just remove the leaves leaving one one or two and then the weight is on the bags and the springs only hold the axle in place under the bags? Is there a chance the spring will break over time from being cycled up and down? Just trying to understand as I am in a learning/research stage

Nice.. but any reason why you placed the airbag line through the inside chassis on the driver side & out side for the passenger side?
@CustomRigs2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the truck but on this one the airbag has to sit inside the frame rail on one side to avoid steering shaft and on the other side it has to sit outside the frame rail to avoid engine oil filter

Ive always wondered what happens if you need to remove the air bag. Does the nut stay trapped by the bracket making it possible to unscrew the bag or will you have to remove the U bolts and the bracket to unbolt the air bag?

Bro I have one question plz answer. I bought peterbilt 389 low air leaf suspension steering air ride from factory I installed 12 gauge solenoid. With 20 inch bumper and stock shock PACCAR. When I dump my air from steer my bumper is not touching the ground and between front fender and tire still 5 to 6 inch gap .how I can get more lower plz answer
@CustomRigs3 жыл бұрын
Did the 389 12 gauge kit you install have big under airbag plastic spacer. I noticed the 389 kit we installed had them too but not this w900 kit. You can get smaller airbags part number k303-19. This will drop few inches and make sure your shocks are not bottoming out. Remove shocks on one end and dump the truck and see if shocks can still go back on.
@outlawriders25343 жыл бұрын
