Hey, my name is Tarek. I was born in Ghana but I live in Germany now. I am visually impaired, when I saw this video, I was very shocked because in my school, we do everything using a laptop you see when you’re disabled there’s always ways for you to write your exam.

That's what happened to one of our mates last year(2023) , the external didn't allow anyone to write for him , it was soo heartbreaking and he couldnt even write 😓

Chale you got the first submission wrong... They've adopted the drone system which has actually helped the students to not cross the rivers to other centers outside their district to write the exams. Since the papers are now being brought to them in their own district with the drones.

@ eeii scanty I agree with you, on the other hand the physically challenged person should be given more time (ie: if a normal person is given 3 hrs to complete their exam, a physically challenged should be given twice that time or more depending on how they feel and (a different facility for them to take their exam) ahead of time or during the same time. They shouldn’t be under pressure. I know of few colleagues in school who weren’t physically challenged but they needed more time during an examination, it was provided to at the same time we were taking ours. We were given an hour, however they were given 2 or more extra hours.

We can just get a Tarblet or a computer for this guy and upload all the BECE questions on it for him to select answers in the form of MCQs just like we do in the universities. During the Covid, lots of schools adopted the use of online platforms to write exams and this same thing can be applied in this instance. This should be an innovation for digitization.

Actually scanty, the blind people have a system of writing called braille consisting of numbers, shortcuts and alphabets that also works for them. But for a case like the guy in question, I think they need a system that works for them also .

12:30 I have a student who is also writing BECE. That’s the problem we are facing. GES has no alternative for the disable. So we will shade tge Section A for him and the THEORY de3 we leave it up to him and God because he CAN’T write.
