This is SOOO cute!! And I love the big snowflakes...it really makes it seem organic. And the ones on the road look like "slush!"

Kristina I think this bear looks warm and cozy inside his car and all the snow around him and he's happy and warm and cozy. I love it...and I also love that you didn't give up. You went forward and made something of it. This is being creative and seeing what you can do to pull it out of the fire and you did... I see a cozy happy bear in his warm car with all that cold and snow outside. Baby it's cold outside...but I'm warm in here. I love it Kristina and thanks for the show. The larger drops are close and the smaller ones farther away. It's a matter of perspective. Really cute card. Thanks for sharing!

Great save, Kristina! Kind of makes me think of the year my mom & I went camping in Grand Tetons National Park. In June. To get there, we started driving through the mountains (shorter route), until the rain that was falling turned to snow, then turned to snow that was sticking to the road. Yep--in June! I had never driven in snow, we didn't have snow tires, & I wasn't sure how this would turn out, so we ended up turning around and going the longer way--no snow! Just sorry we didn't get pictures when we stopped to turn around, because it WAS pretty. Anyway, love the blizzard you created, even if you didn't originally intend to! Really cute card overall. Tfs! :)

In a photograph with snow though the snow closer to the viewer is larger so it just lends more realism to the look of snow!

Great design! I love how you can create a full scene so easily with masking!Had to laugh, though, when the "big snow" fell. You said "Well, he's in a blizzard now!" 😀 Yep! You just never know how the weather will be....even in card world!

This is really sweet Kristina. The larger droplets on the road worked anyway as it is in the foreground of the card. Either way it is great. When you were prepping your paper for the sentiment, I thought it was going to say: Let it SNOW! Lol

I love the big droplets! This card reminded me of something I learned when I started crafting...if you add something, and it looks wrong to you, add more of it to make it look on purpose! :) I will need to create a blizzard card soon!

Too funny - I saw the finished card on Instagram before seeing your video. I rarely comment there, but this time I said 'Great snow!' or something like that because I loved how some of the flakes were huge - it is my favorite kind of snow! It's the really wet, really big flake kind of snowfall that rarely sticks but just looks fantastic!! I love this card!!!

Kristina, This card is absolutely adorable. I also want you to know you now have a number one fan I’m my three year old granddaughter. When she and I get together she love to watch your videos. A really dumb question, but I am quite the novice in watercolor techniques. What keeps your colors from bleeding over to the next image? Does the stamped ink keep the watercolor in the bounds of the image? Such a cute card. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas!

I'm not Kristina, but pretty much any waterproof pen would work. I've heard of people using Sharpie markers (ultra fine tip), but Micron pens (I believe) or Faber Castel Pitt Artist pens would work as well, and they are acid-free. I know Kristina uses a Pilot(?) envelope addressing pen. HTH! :)

Oh I think it's prefect! You know it looks how our roads look in Utah, because we use Salt on our roads. I mean after all if you live in Salt Lake City, Utah Yeah that salt on the road. But, I think you had us all giggling when it starting snowing a lot LOL :D The biggest saying in Utah is; If you want to see all four seasons, stay in Utah 5 min's LOL I Love this card the same as everyone else, Oh so Happy mistakes ; )

You get a smoother edge to shapes so it’s easier to create the illusion of lines.
