*Extract the contents of the downloaded file into a folder.
*Send upgrade.lgu to a FAT32 formatted USB .
*Insert the USB with the file in the navigator and switch on the machine.
*Accept the proposed update on screen and press " Update "
*Wait for the navigator to be turned on and check the version

Glad to know. My brother drives a Lodgy too and had asked to look for some such update. Is the detail level available in Indian maps as good as it was before the update ? Is navigation working well ? Reason for asking is the "free map update" file that I remember downloading some 3-4yrs back, when we were under the free update period, was much larger, and now the Map update file is only 3.5MB, which seems too small for detailed maps of India (in fact, seems impossible to fit in that much).

There is a problem with maps. Now my India Map version goes back to 2012 Q1 where it was 2018 Q4 before the update. After this, almost 90% of maps are nonfunctional because of old maps.
