Thanks for validating some of the things I've recently incorporated into my routine, Jim, in hopes of recuperating from over a decade of escapism after a freak accident stole my beloved spouse of 50 + years. I recently incorporated a 30 minute outdoors (Come Rain, S,hine, Snow, or Sleet) a.m.circadian Rhythm Reset, plus, Dr.Bush's 4 minute workout to activate the 6 major muscle groups releasing the Nitric oxide factor. From. your helpful suggestions today I hope to add opposite hand tooth brushing plus accomplishing 3 professional & 3 personal daily achievements. As "Miss Piggy' used to say: "So MNy men, so little time." In my case it is: "So Mich to do, so little time." Thanks, Jim, for reminding me: "The day we stop learning we stop living."

What I have learned from this video; Morning routine 1. Remember your dream(s) 2. Make your bed, clean environment, clean mind, enable productivity 3. Hydrate, take water 4. Brush your teeth, using your opposite hand, this will stimulate and keep you present 5. 7:00am exercise, whatever is good for your heart, is good for your brain 3-5mins 6. Take a shower 7. Do one difficult thing, easy things are depressing, difficult things keep you alive 8. Take your brain power smoothy 9. Do your reading, and journal; all genius does that, it builds your mind 10. Have a not to do lists; you must say no to good in order to say yes to great 11. Phone puts you on a reactive move 12. Write your 3 most important goals for the day; the most important thing, is to keep the most important 13. Writing things that will make today a great day: begin with the end in mind! Put first things first. The most important thing is to keep the most important, the most important thing. First things first. Write down three things you want to do for yourself professionally, personally, and don’t touch your phone until you do or accomplish one of those things. It doesn’t have to be big things, it could also be small things 14. Just don’t get up, pick your phone and start reacting 15. Technology is neither good or bad. It is just a tool, you can use it positively or negatively 16. Technology is a tool to be used but when technology is using you then you become the tool 17. First you create your habits then your habits creates you

Love this. The first thing I do when I open my eyes is say thank you God for waking me up. 2. I go take my vitamins and hydrate. 3. I pray. 4. I meditate. 5. I brush my teeth. 6 I exercise physically and mentally for 2 hours. I read sometimes when riding a stationary bike or I listen to audio book while jogging. I do this every morning for the last two years and it has transformed my life I no longer choose depression. I no longer choose reactivity. I choose happiness. I choose joy. I choose to be of service. I choose the perfection in me that was given at birth.

I wake at 4:05am, immediately put on my exercise clothes, drink 30oz water and take my supplements, then run/jog 45min or about 4mile,, get home take COLD shower, brush teeth, Make bed, put on comfy robe and warm slippers, then sit down with a hot cup of coffee, write in my journal 20 things I'm grateful for and positive "I am" affirmations, get dressed for work, cook some eggs, feed the cat, clean his box, and then it's off to conquer the world by 7am..

I am thankful for the day ahead, I smile and fill my heart with joy, meditate in stillness, deep breathing whilst bare feet on the ground looking at the early morning sun rising, stretches and gentle exercises, oil pulling, make my bed have a warm glass of water, some days I don't have the time for them all . Tip for cold showers : use a hand-held shower head and start with the feet and hands, and go up gradually, rubbing fast the skin with your hands, especially the thighs, belly and shoulders. I've been doing that for 6 months every day and I love it, I can't even stand hot showers anymore.

Something that helps me, is to expose the vagus nerve, in one’s neck, to the cold first. This has a way of causing a total body relaxation. Then you don’t feel so jolted by the cold when it gets to other areas. Try this. It makes a big difference.

I start my day at 4:30. I read a page out of a daily stoic book and the quote and lesson for the day. I take my essential supplements and head to the gym at 5am. There I raise my frequency for overcoming the physical challenges I set up for myself. I feel much better and sharper the rest of the day. A sleep routine is just as important. I use a grounding pillow case, subliminal programming, and a blind fold for compete darkness. I look forward to optimizing life with these little hacks.

As a Coach I found it challenging waking up and teaching them what to start in the rising, I enjoy my risings to myself. Therefore starting tomorrow I will start back with NO TECHNOLOGY In the first hour. Even meditate without being guided. I will also start brushing my teeth with the opposite hand. Love that! Everything you mentioned I do which makes me feel great because it is important. I also Pray and visualize the first 15 minutes of my day! Affirm how I want it to go and say affirmations and show gratitude 🙏🏽

The first 2 things that I do after waking up are these: 1) Praying to God so I can Thank Him for everything and ask guidance for a very wonderful & productive day ahead of me & my family. 2) Hug and Kiss My Husband With My Kids because they are My Inspiration. I hope to learn more so I can share more and I can do more. More power Sir Jim Kwik and God Bless. 😊

Even when I took live presentations from you I could not improve my memory because your speed of delivery was too fast for my brain. But this was FABULOUS!!! and I thank you. So many wonderful ideas. Staying focused on having met daily goals and doing them. ; like making the bed. It invites you to have an organized day, and its a welcome to get into a freshly made bed that cocoons you totally of all the accomplishments you made for the day. I thank you. all is written down. I will retype and tape to my wall and start doing this daily. I won't use blinders, I promiss.Rachelle Neher

I can see the befits but we also need to just be and allowing. I go through periods of discipline routine but it’s not self imposed. I am a creator and I need my down times to gain prospective. I love your mission and I noticed for myself that what you share is innate within ourselves. I am an immigrant in the US and I learned English and Spanish and I experienced many different jobs and gained skills that only life circumstances can bring. I had terrible learning📚 problems and I never really give up on moving forward. Persistence is what brought me here and today I am developing a brand new Italian course for beginners and it’s the fruits of my struggles and the result of living in a foreign country 🇺🇸 Motivation is the key but also life circumstances does it too! ❤🙏🇮🇹🇺🇸

Jim Kwik shares his personal morning routine aimed at jump-starting the brain and winning the day. His routine is built on the idea that habits create you, not the other way around. The treasures you want most are hidden in your daily routine, and the habits you adopt are what create those treasures. Highlights: - Remember your dreams to consolidate short to long-term memory and stimulate creativity. - Make your bed with excellence to start the day on a positive note. - Hydrate and take probiotics for optimal brain function. - Brush your teeth with your opposite hand to stimulate different parts of the brain and improve focus. - Exercise for three minutes to jump-start the brain and get the blood pumping. - Take a cold shower to lower inflammation and build resilience and grit. - Write in a journal to build self-awareness and memory.

I have been making my bed every morning. I forget I did it but when I come home at night i'm like, "The maid was here!!" I have also been taking my dog on a hike in the morning instead of waiting to get my work done. First off all, it is more likely to happen if I do it first thing, and second thing, it has really helped me feel grounded and ready to face the rest of the day. I not only get more done but I eat better and think better. The three things I plan to add from Jim's list is hyrdrate, use my opposite hand, and read a book while I drink my morning smoothie. I am also going to avoid checking my phone or computer until after my morning hike and journal writing. I feel like it is an act of putting myself first, getting my brain straight before letting others in.

The everyday stress still happens, yet I personally can move through it with zero panic attacks, as long as I stay focused on the gratitude & ride that positive wave to healthy solutions. Not saying it’s easy bcuz some moments are WTH?!!, but my days are overall hopeful & joyous. 🙌🏼

Awesome 🤩 I used to have great dreams and forget the moment when I look at my phone for any messages/ check 1 post. It also affects my meditation. So 1 thing to stop completely - Checking my phone. One good habit - I meditate daily and the effects are amazing.

Love all of these methods. I only use my phone first thing in the morning to play a meditation or listen to binaural sounds. I need to get movement into my days so that is a goal for this year.

I jumpstart my brain beginning with dream recall. Then I do a series of affirmations, express my gratitude for being alive, and then meditate and imagine where and who I want to be both now and in the near future. Afterwards, I make my bed, then go outside and expose myself to sunlight for at least ten minutes. I then take a cold shower for five minutes ideally and begin reviewing the activities to be done for the day. While drinking some water on hand or a maca drink.

In the morning I start with a guided meditation to turn on my inner smile and get my vibration in alignment with love and receptivity. I try or carry this through my day. I am going to try not checking my phone in the morning so habitually and see what happens. I’m also going to do a little exercise in combination with my new habit of going outside and getting some light in the first hour of waking up.

Thanks a lot for your videos. I really enjoy them and many of your routines work for me very well. One thing though I came recently across is the concept of ego depletion. The idea there is that willpower is a limited resource and every action that requires willpower will empty our "willpower tank" until we at some point can't do certain actions anymore. I think this is important to keep in mind when we build a morning routine that consists of many new actions because I think it shows that it is unrealistic that we can implement all these changes at once and start becoming a new person over night. Instead I think we need to be conscious that it is more realistic to build these habits bit by bit over a long time. Once these become habits they won't consume anymore willpower which we can then use for other actions.

Thanks for the great video Jim! Quick note: No, not everyone finds it easy to brush their teeth or take a daily shower. Maybe brushing with my non-dominant hand could make it more fun. Thanks for the ideas & enthusiasm for life 💕

I believe the most important thing I need to change in my morning routine is checking my phone Besides that I’ll begin to write in the morning and brush my teeth with the opposite hand For someone who doesn’t have a morning routine, it’s important to start small

I've seen a similar video from Jim years ago but I know that people need to be reminded more than they need to receive something new. At the same time if you want brand new ideas you most forget what you already know.
