That's an awesome idea!! I need to suggest this to our local track for special events cause this is hilarious!

I don't know bout everyone else but that was awesome! Just comes to show you that drivers don't mind tearing up a car for a thousand bucks because they care about their fans

Or they just want to have some fun like with my go kart in thinking about moving out the tires putting on an old clutch and doing some donuts

Well, you see the thing about that is that these cars can be rebuilt fairly easily, unlike the Honda Civic in your picture that could probably be totalled by a bug hitting the windshield.

NOT BAD! That was frikin awesome!

#1 They're mostly doing this for fun. #2 They're running zero stagger so, they will be naturally inclined to turn towards the infield. #3 What they lose in winnings they will make up in t-shirts, pictures & other stuff (if they're smart) #4 The rear ends on good sprint cars are far more than just a grand. Why all the hate? It's not your car.
@4theloveofDub12 жыл бұрын
the only bad thing was that they did this BEFORE the main event so many guys hold back a little to not tear up their cars before the main race...

so to show off, the car gets wrecked and can't race in what the car was built for, all for a potential $1K. Wonder what the repair bill was?
@MrXSeleven12 жыл бұрын
Great Video- Would have been better wheelies on a 3/8 or 1/2 mile...longer straights; just chuck the 1/4 mile gears into the QC for some bottom end grunt.
@TEEPEE0011 жыл бұрын
I didn't say they couldn't rebuild it easily. I was saying he probably spent easy more than 1000 dollars to fix it. And all street cars are built to crumple not just my Honda. obviously you don't want a race car to crumple that's why they aren't built with crumple zones.

This was stupid. Im sorry but really? Theres no telling what one of those cars will do when theres NO steering. They should've had the "judges" behind a barrier and then $1,000 for that? He just trashed all the rear axle components a rear axle is a grand not to mention the bird cages. Not worth it

They choose to do it. When you strap in you know it maybe the last time you do so. That's the risk of racing
