KWVR Class 108 Thrash

The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway's Class 108 DMU thrashes up the hill out of Keighley in March 2010. Filmed from inside in a quiet carriage with passengers in the front, there is some superb classic DMU thrash and noise on this video!

This 108 unit spent its life working the Wrexham to Bidston route! based at Chester. Had many miles on this beast! brings back memories! got loads of photo's from the 80's of this unit!

It’s a class 108 train 🚊 is the first generation DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit. Cosy train 🚊. Conveys a toilet 🚽 🚻. 👍

Love this reminds me of a my childhood but just a quick question I listened to the gear changes it got into 4 th so that's about 35-40 mph but on a railway which top speed is 25 ????

Only went into 3rd, the changeover speed is mid-high 20s so it’s nothing excessive.

@@limeyfox I know this comment is from 2 years ago but that was defo 4th, engine sound changed very close to end. Not speeding though cos pretty sure the limit on that railway is 40mph on that GN straight?
