I have both of these models an 18 and 19 .... I like the 18 motor better and the brakes .... the 19 clutch feels better but not sure if it performs better .... I hated the stock setting on the 19 forks and the rear brake is hard to modulate until it got some time on it ... I put the 18 rotor(240mm)and carrier bracket on it ... much better !!! Had the 18 air forks re valved on the oil side and found some good air settings... they are now probably the best forks I have ever raced on , they are awesome!!!!

How reliable are these new 4 strokes, I used to race KX250 2 strokes 15 years ago and the 250s were bullet proof and very easy to keep running well with proper maintenance. How do these 4 strokes compare.

So far so good, We have a lot of them out there and the only time there is an issue is if the maintenance has not been kept up.As most bikes are pretty good the dirt bikes seem to only have issues when they are not looked after.Bring back the 2 strokes!! 2 strokes are heading the way of the do bird. Smokers are fast, lots of power but unpredictable throttle response for some.

Its just huge, takes up the whole swing arm. I know thats the side that you change the air filter on, but doesnt look good in my opinion, especially when today every manufacturer is going to minimal plastics. Just my opinion.....yamaha ftw haha
