Looks just like the Sea Eagle Razor-lite. Are all these drop-stitch kayaks built in the same factory with different colors/labels slapped on for different sales regions?

Hey Phrancis, no they are absolutely not all made in the same factory. These KXone Sliders are made by Woosung, different to the Air Glide kayaks which are made in different factories to Sea Eagle and so on. They all utilise the same drop-stitch technology in both the side walls and the floor, however quality does vary between the accessories, the Air Glide having the best included accessories being the premium seats, and rudder system optional extra.

@@Calwinn We can confirm 100%, these are not made in the same factory. There are various factories producing inflatable kayaks and many have the same design but will be varying levels of quality, QC, the accessories included far different (compare the KXone Slider to the Air Glide accessories for example).

Looks great. Would you be able to use the 375cm version as a tandem or would it be necessary to get the 410cm version? Looks like you could attach the seat seat further back to the rear 2 D-rings at the stern to make room to hook a front seat to the front 2 D-Rings, but it may be a bit cramped. I would primarily use solo but occasionally as tandem if possible. Thanks.

Hi Gareth, you would need to purchase the Slider 410 if you wanted a tandem version. It would be be the best option for the scenario you described on how you will use it. Kind regards,Bay Sports.

You would go the 410 version, so you have 2 sets of seats and 2 sets of paddles, and when paddling solo you position the seat in the middle (just attach to any of the various D-rings located down the inside walls on the kayak).

Yes you can, you put a bar behind the rear seat and secure it to the internal wall D-rings, and then attach your little electric motor!

You can purchase fishing rod holders that glue onto the PVC inner walls, so you can fish from it!

So long as there are fish to be caught! There is of course the chance of piercing the PVC material with a hook, but it won't just burst upon a hook touching it, it is 1.4mm strong PVC material so is relatively durable.

Most of this kind drop stitch kayaks are produced in China. Of course they copy each other, so their products look pretty similar. As what the Bay Sports said in another post, they come in different quality levels. Asymmetrical cut shape or not straight glued on front "fin" are often mentioned, the boat would never run straight. Other complaints had been flooring not straight, or folds breaking. On Alie I find few user reviews, because they delete too negative comments. The point I am making is, you will not know what you get. An unbranded Kayak of a reputable brand, or a piece of crap.
