She is all crowd control but you have to rely on her spinning tops to stack a combo her playstyle is best described by her basara attack you need to bind enemies for the tops to bounce off of which is why she has two dedicated binding skills. Her combo ability for me at least is just as complicated as hideyoshi. (My issue with hideyoshi is he does way to much damage on standard difficulty so I cant chain his grabs, maria is similar because you need your enemies alive through most of her attacks) in short maria is a pinball machine.

triel14 Very true about the Pinball thing, still not really used to it. She's the only character so far than i haven't tried to solo the heaven difficulty with, because she's just so difficult to fight bosses with. I'll do it some day i guess lol

Her skill where she binds an enemy then use her first super art seems to be the most damaging of all her skills
