my age 43, i had -4.25 prescription , my vision was razor sharp , now i got +1.0 also, so my specs shop gave me progressive since 2months,for using with computer also, near & computer vision is good but i can't see tv or people's faces sharply as i used to see earlier, my vision is divided into parts vertically the 180 deg uniform vision of distance is gone, i have to still move my head vertically to get good field of vision, is there any glasses where distance, intermediate & near are available full 180 deg. like with single power lenses.

It’s waste of money. I spent 12k only on progressive lenses of Carl Zeiss. They are making fool. Concept of progressive is incomplete and you do not attempt it. I used progressive for two years and had to shift back to contacts and separate specs for reading. And moreover very interesting of progressive and very rubbish you have to move your head constantly in all sides where you have to see, that’s rubbish u are moving head every time you have to look at something on sides of your area of vision, that’s very abnormal and unnatural way which is not acceptable socially at all, even attitude of society is considerable noticeable negative after my this behaviour. Moving head left and right it’s like a cartoon. progressive user has to look this way on his side because sides of progressive are 60% blur and of no use of vision, you have to compromise with that 40% power of vision. I quit progressive and shifted to contacts and to read with contacts a simple specs which is to be worn on the contacts to create power to bring capability to read. Otherwise have simple two specs one for near and one for far sight specs or last option have combined ( mixed in one lense) specs.
