What Russia is doing in Donbas (Ukraine) is same as Pakistan is doing in Kashmir (India) & China is doing in Ladakh (INDIA). POK is/was always part of India. India never recognised independence or part of Pakistan, while Ukraine is independent country which was recognised by Russia and other countries.

I think you have missed some vital information: 1. USSR assigned administration of Crimea to Ukraine prior to split of USSR otherwise Crimea was never part of Ukraine. 2. In 1991, Crimea got stayed with Ukraine because USSR was very weak and they didn't negotiate. 3. Europe is hungry for fuel and natural resources. 4. Europe had been exploiting Africa and Asia since 1500AD. 5. Russians after strengthening themselves, want their territory back. 6. This cause problem for European and that is why they are complaining. 7. Your stating point should have been slightly better and neutral
