The main problem as mentioned, it's not just marriage, many other things will be affected. Many people are saying the right to marry but they keep on forgetting the laws that are tied to marriage. Many people are just reading the context of the hearing but not the actual conversation which was happening. The judge asked "In Indian marriage women have many rights and have legal power over many things in case of divorce but in the same $ex marriage who will get the benefit " The reply from the lawyers was "Both should get the benefits" Then the judge simple said "Then normal heterosexual couples will start coming to court demanding same thing that they also want benefits" The judges asked the lawyers to provide a logical argument which would not affect the normal couple by giving out the special privileges to them. Emotion and law are not the same thing. If everything runs on emotion then the whole world would collapse we can see what is happening in the US right now. Law should be made using brains and logic not with emotion and magic.
