TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra jobs are actually interships with stipends to train untrained professionals for product based companies. So train yourself hard so that you crack product based companies from college campus or off-campus, but you may or may not get product based companies cause supply is more compared to demand... This man makes my day. I am someone who passed out in 2022 from a new university where we are the first batch of CSE students to graduate. I was always good at coding and there was no coding happening in the college. I remember the 2021-22 placement season when everyone on linkedin was posting about cracking multiple jobs. I was so inspired and because I had practiced so much coding and have a genuine interest I felt I will do really great. But after that I am working in a service based company for that past 1.5yrs and still was not happy because I could not switch to a product company. This video calms me down and made me think straight that I need to chill a little bit and not panic about it. Keep this series up.

So true...even I got placed in service based companies..but suddenly started feeling like I have done nothing as "real achievement to bas product based companies me placement lene se milti hai" ...but now I understood I should appreciate my hardwork..tier 3 or lower middle class family se nikal kr 3 service based companies me placement lena bhi chhoti bat to nhi h!! We should be grateful for such companies.

So true! When I was in TCS I felt the best with job security and now when I'm abroad I'm seeing people laid off without any firm reason! TCS gave me a great platform to learn vast majority of tools at the start of my career. At the start I was so scared of joining, but when I did, I felt nothing but so proud and I embraced it as much as I could inspite of all the naysayers. And infact now when I see other companies, I do feel they don't have internal tools as strong as TCS. You've said it bang on right Tanay sir!

Because they use best open source counterparts, TCS likes to use things no one else uses so their best brains can't gain experience in relevant things.

For me starting my career in a service based company like wipro was a blessing in disguise, it made me to work hard and move out of my comfort zone, which resulted 10 times higher package within 5 years in a product based company.

Hi tanaya bhaiya, i work for computer vision solutions (AI 100% core development) in service based firm. And i enjoy working here with so much flexibility haa thoda salary kum hai but wfh hai team lead karne milta hai sab kuch jo achi life ki definition ho. I was feeling low from many days because of low compensation but After hering this it made my day. Thankyou tanay bhaiya

Aesa thodi hota hai yaar kesi baat karta hai..... Tu study karta reh aur apni skills upgrade karta reh toh 10 years down the line 100% tu usse aage nikal sakta hai.... Kai baar log company mai nalle bethe hote hai aur ghar pe zyada padhte hai

@@known878 How can you upgrade skills when you have never worked in any good project. Some 5-10% bootlickers in TCS are sent onsite, rest all are stuck, TCS to PRODUCT is nearly impossible unless you do MBA/ MTech from IIM /IIT and get oncampus

I was actually suffering from mental stress, illness and family pressure because I was the 1st person to get placed on-campus and I am the last person to not get date of joining even after 1 year of issuing letterOfIntent from cognizant. Because of this kind of stress i isolated myself from all my social media and joy of living life. You are the only person who made me feel strong even at my worst situation broo. Service based companies revenue is also increasing day by day compared to product based companies due to more number of employement opportunities in Service Based Companies , so service in my view service based companies is best because service based contributes more revenue more money in india to giving employemnt to youth and grow along with people, if you grow company will automatically grow or vice-versa.

As someone who joined Infy as fresher, the faculty and HRs treat you as a kid from pre-school not like working professionals. The company doesn't care about your ambitions or career goals. If you are stuck in a bad project forget progression. No one is there to help you. Worst part if you look for a switch, you start again as fresher😢 There might be good projects, but what is ratio of employees working on such projects to employees working in bad support project with no growth options. I guess you should have mentioned these points as well. Lastly I am not against the good points mentioned above, Its just that anyone placed in such companies should start looking for job after a year or 2.

I was so sad about my first internship, but your vdo gives me hope. Actually I come from a tier 1 clg. I hav worked for my dream since I passed jee (even before my clg began) but still I couldn't manage to be in the place I always wanted to. I'm surrounded by people who are in faangm , Adobe etc.but I couldn't make it to them. I don't know why but life is not that smooth for me. After watching this vdo I feel somewhat better. Mere Papa ko unki pehli job lagi thi 1996 mein to unki salary thi Rs1500 jisme vo ghar bhi bhejte the kuchh bacha kar ke. To main humesha Papa ki yahi baat ko yaad karta hun aur josh ke saath kaam pe lag jata hun, ab isme Tanay bhaiya ki bhi baat ko main jod raha hun.

Sir, let me tell you the ground reality, I myself am a 2023 passed out student, and speaking about one of the companies you mentioned, let me tell you that they are giving just 15k for the first 3 months, that too you are on probation period, and after that the role you are assigned is for support projects, with 2 year bond for the package of 3.25 LPA CTC, and on top of that you should be able to work in 24x7 shifts and in-office, now is this even fair for the package and the cost of living in these metro cities? I see nothing valuable a student is learning, no development projects, or new tools or technologies, if he/she has to switch after two years what is he gaining for experience, support work? I am not talking about all service companies, TCS is doing a great job, but not all are doing this.

Two year bond is literally a waste of time in Service Based industries. You don't even gain relevant experience. If you give two years to a product based company even with a salary of 6pla you can easily switch to 15lpa+ companies after 2 years. The guy in this video is just saying feel good things. Mujhe NPCI mein mili thi. Ye log 2years bond leke 20k salary de rhe the Mumbai mein. Ye majdoori nahi toh kiya hai fir?

One thing I don't understand is service based companies don't take candidates who have a carrer gap. Whereas product based companies don't worry about ur past like no of years experience .

I agree with the point but the tech giants also need to understand the inflation of 2003 isnt same as 2023 there is 2 decade of gap where the prices have increased but salary isnt. Minimum wage in India needs to be regulated.

But they should increase the package minimum at the inflation rate. I saw somewhere, that each TCS employee is billed for around 12Lakhs and they are only paid 3-4 Lakhs. Why??
