In retrospective, Shizuka's skating is so exquisite that it is a great thing she won an OGM.

It's amazing that Morozov was able to polish this FS into a Turandot with all of those level-4 moves, all within a few weeks. Of course, it was possible given Shizuka's strong basic skills, talent, and hard work...

I think the placement of Shizuka Arakawa on third was quite appropriate considering the fact that she did reasonably well. Sasha had done a better skating as the 2nd in line and Mao Asada was just sensational in the 1st. I am very happy overral with the level of these awesomely threesome terrific performing ladies. I have viewed this before and I will view it again.

This program’s better than the 2005 World.

What are you talking about? After Mao switched to Tatiana her overall strength and flexibility increased drastically. Mao and Tat both agree that this past season was to challenge Mao and "push the limits." Now they know her weaknesses, how much she can do, and will use that in preparation for the upcoming Olympic season.

Make a case on Midori, Miki and Mao, but Shizuka is, by far, the best all-around elite Japanese female skater ever, the most elegant and, so far, the only one who is an Olympic Champion.

This was a strong performance. Just a bit of a problem on the second Lutz and a small bobble in her final combination spin.

Any idea where I can find this orchestra version of Fantasie Impromptu? Searched everywhere with no luck.
