I've caught some really nice bluegills in Beaver Lake, probably like 4 or 5 yrs before this video was made. Went back around about 2013 or so and didn't catch hardly any

Kentucky is home to some of the best fishing in the country in my opinion and with out the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Conservation group our state may not have fishing as good as it is!

i fish in a private lake thats overcrowded bigtime...huge bluegill and u can catch alot of bass but all of them are tiny and super skinny...so it's really not a good thing...unless u fish for bluegill..

Not everyone has a boat to go fishing on Beaver Lake. They need to bring back boat rental and there will be more people fishing I wish they would do that I love fishing Beaver Lake.

an 8 year old fish should be 22-24" amd weigh 7-10 lbs. i highly doubt they aged a 12" fish at 10 years old..... and to say we need to take 1,000 fish out is ludicrous.... you need to determine what weight to harvest from the lake... LoL somebody is feeding him a line of bull, or hes just a bad bs'er lots of bad info in this video.

South Mississippi Outdoors- First of all you know nothing about this lake, let alone the problems it had. Beaver lake is only 158 acres in size and isn’t considered a big destination lake in the state. Anglers rarely caught fish over 15 inches and previous shocking surveys confirmed very few fish larger than that. Because of the lakes small size it struggled to support any kind of baitfish population, further impeding growth rates. And btw they did determine what weight to harvest from the lake. 1000 fish came from the average weight of the 9-13 inch fish they wanted to remove.
