Wow, wow, wow....I can recall every Kilometer of this road...Memories came rolling -by for me. As you enter Kalasa @ 10.15 on video, on rt.hand side you see a building with Dish antenne, House next to it was my Grandfather's house...Little ahead, the house with 2 tall coconut trees, is our relative's house..( which is more than 100yrs) and they have retained it like that. Well Kyathamamakki ride is of next level. the Green jeep you see must be of Mr. Yogish Bhat ( well known 4wheel off roader from Kalasa). Thanks for the drive down memory lane...Roads looks beautiful and greenery all over. Tfs.
@MotoSapien6 жыл бұрын
Yea i had seen your posts that was captured in Your native (kalasa) .. so i am sure all these routes are familiar for you😁 Oh that’s your grandfather’s place.. awesome.. i guess you still visit there often?☺️ that house which is more than 100 years.. that is interesting 😇 If we happen to ride together that side someday, I would love to see that house once 😇 Speaking of Yogish Bhat, when i stopped to wait for rain to stop, fellow shopkeeper told me About Mr. Yogish Bhat.. and now you told about him.. so i guess he is famous off roader there😁 but we chose to wait for more than an hour because we wanted to try the off road in our bikes.. I don’t know how the video has come.. but it was one hell of a ride and this will be cherished forever😇 Thanks for your kind words and information sir😇

Superb guru.. last October I visited this place on my RTR. As mentioned few parts are pretty challenging. Somehow managed to visit both Gaali gudda and kyathanamakki peak.. result was damaged wheel bearings, loose TStem and Unlimited happiness 🤟.... It's crazy that you did it in R15 as the power delivery is peaky.
@MotoSapien4 жыл бұрын
Raman Kr unlimited happiness! Tats what the agenda is😛 thanks for the appreciation 😇 And yeah even though R15 has peak power delivery it’s not snappy as Duke 390.. so manageable 😇
@ramankr47124 жыл бұрын
@@MotoSapien yeah.. first gen Duke 390 is kindoff rabid dog in terms of power delivery😂, where as R15 is more manageable🙂... and we always learn from our experiences especially on motorcycles.. I learnt a lesson and improved from that ride.. Recently converted my RTR 160 to 200cc with 4v head setup. soon will be working on spokewheels setup(planning to go for Impulse combo 19/17 if not 18/17) and beefing up front suspension for more travel..Let's see how the things move up.. currently things are on hold due to Corona lockdown 😐
@MotoSapien4 жыл бұрын
Raman Kr yea true that! But i kinda like Old gen Duke than present in performance wise! Reminds me of RX! Unpredictable and Bone chill feelings.. infact i ve a plan of building a scrambler out of old gen duke 390.. but then again.. I remember ma bank balance and shut ma ass😅 btw try retro fitting Xpulse forks as its stronger than Impulse.. but it works too.. i have seen a guy retro fitting impulse set up on duke 200! Works like a charm..
@ramankr47124 жыл бұрын
@@MotoSapien yes I have seen duke 200 engine on Impulse by few Motocross team and infamous bullet-proof RTR 180/200 engine swaps.. yes first genDuke 390 is more of a RD than RX 🤪...If your bank balance permits You can go with Himalayan fork(41mm) rather than Xpulse(37mm).. but with Xpulse rally kit(+50mm travel than normal) keeps the options away 🤩.... Or else wait till adv suspension setup comes to seconds market and swap em without fuss(but suspension travel will be less though than Himalayan and Xpulse) and looks almost stockish...

Nice video bro.. but a TIP: We have google maps in regional languages, even edutainment channels like discovery, national geographic are also available in regional languages. Even sports channel also started in Kannada(ie., Star sports 1 Kannada) How could English narration will bring more viewers.. Very tiny number of people watch English videos on KZbin.. English is no more the language of internet and particularly KZbin.. more than 95% of KZbin viewers are indian language viewers only.. if you are creating these videos for fun then English is cool but if you are seriously considering it then KANNADA narration and Karnataka centric explanation is must. Who wants see about all these people? Mostly Karnataka people.. think about the mass people not just your friend circle.. If the narration is in Kannada then you can at least expect 10 times better response than this.😎
