My argument for right hand drive cars. Most people are right handed. This dominant hand should cotrol the steering of the vehical. Gears/stick, indicators, radio, juggling, rubik cubes and reading etcetera are for the left hand or eye. 8 ) 50/50 on the share thing. It depends on what we all order really. Thank for the vlog guys, i'll finish it tomorrow.

In my family we don’t share. However, If someone asked nicely, they might be given a taste and only a taste 😜 But some things we ordered to share in addition to our individual meals. So we were kind of a blend. Then after the meal we would fight over paying the bill. My brother on law won most of the time. He was a very generous and great man.

When my husband (boyfriend back then) and I were in Japan for only 10 days in April of 2017, we rode the Shinkansen on a rather windy day from Hamamatsu to Tokyo. Since it was so windy, many Shinkansen trains did not go, but we got to see Mt Fuji in full beauty! I think we were quite lucky.

Same with the rest of the fam. Also Fuji looks great. Look at that big volcano. Hope the Fuj doesn't erupt any time soon. Interesting about Eric's drver's liense

Love the Fuji 5 Lakes area. We stayed at Kawaguchiko on our last trip, and it was an amazing couple of days. Fuji Q Highland, Ropeway at Lake Kawaguchi. Aokigahara Forest hike. Bat Cave. Ice Cave. I can't wait to go back there. Also ... Chinese Food etiquette. Australian here. Chinese takeout is always shared with the family. I don't know of any family where they'll buy a dish each and not share it around. Maybe you'd order your own dish with work colleagues, or at a fancy Chinese restaurant dine-in, but not take-out!

Yeah we drive on the right side in the UK. I've driven in the US and its really not an issue. As to the indicators in the 40plus years I've been driving, I found old Minis had them on one side, other cars on the other side. It's not standard at all. You adapt. Hope Kyde feels better now.

The chinese place we used to go when I was a kid it depended on what you ordered. You could actual order 'family style' where things came out in one big bowl of noodles, a bit heap of rice etc, with a big spoon in each for everyone to dish up they're own plate. Or you could order single meals per person. We usually did family style so we all got a little bit of everything. Though on a side note when I was much younger and very picky I discovered they had the /best/ burger you I've ever had.

From a "hoarder" family where we didn't share Chinese food, that's why the combo meals were so great. I also agree with Katie in regards to pizza: I actually thought I didn't like pizza until I got to have good pizza and it turned out I just don't like bad pizza. I would go the Eric route with the driver's license though, my husband is a better driver than I am and I would definitely say he could be my chauffer. I am just very careful about looking out the windshield because I get every kind of motion sickness
@KariHaruka2 жыл бұрын
You're right Eric. The UK drives on the left (Like in Japan). But in British cars, the indicator stalk is on the left and the windshield wiper stalk is on the right (Like in the US). Option 3 also applies to those of us from the UK who have a UK driving license. Converting a UK license to a Japanese license is as simple as paying a fee, providing all the required documents and taking an eye test.
@travelswithblindcane2 жыл бұрын
Eric, that shirt choice is top notch! My family were Chinese food hoarders, but I think it was more because we sat around the TV rather than a table. We could ask and no one objected to sharing, but it was pretty much hoarding it xD

In Australia, the blinker, or indicator, is on the right side, the same as the steering wheel. Except for VW, for some reason... As for Chinese, it's more fun to share! Congratulations on getting your Japanese drivers license Eric! Kyde, i have a big issue with carsickness, motionsickness, so being in cars or even trains is a bit of a challenge and a nightmare. Closing my eyes and drinking water helpes but does not make it go away, it has gotten worse with age and time. My days of joyrides and headbanging are over :) It is 15:30 over here and pitch black where i live right now so i know how it is not having enought daylight for your "out and about" adventures, and to look at the colors of fall you do want the sun. I live in Sweden by the way, far up north :) Well, i do not get to hang out with real in the flesh people, but i do get to hang out with you right here, that is somewhat a comfort, i just wish i could have gone to Japan as i planned and hoped for, now i have pretty much throwed everything in the trash as you can imagine. Goodluck on your future adventures!

You are right about the indicator stalks for the turn signals. We live in north of UK and have a Ford Kuga (stalk on left) and Suzuki Vitara (stalk on right) which is very irritating as my wife and I use whichever car is convenient rather than a his/hers division and we both operate the wipers at the first turn when switching from one car to the other !!
