He read us a few chapters of a book every single night, and would always make time to chat with us when we came home from school. He had a busy job and he still showed us he cared every day. AND** even after they all got covid(from HER nanny) and they got vaccinated, she STILL held that rule in place. Which in reality is why Jenelle finally left. It’s almost completely unheard of for a woman to take on multiple husbands too in polygamy. So it seems like it’s just catered to men and the women are usually already raised into polygamy not knowing much else. I try hard not to judge bc I know people in open relationships that are just not monogamous people and I respect them for being honest with each other and being okay, but even those relationships normally aren’t structured anything like sister wives marriages come across. The women AND their futufe children have to make such a huge personal sacrifice just so the man gets to have his cake and eat it too. It’s even worse when it’s for “religious” reasons, like FLDS who think when they get to heaven God will like them more if they have multiple wives. I can’t imagine being born into that never knowing otherwise as a woman. Sacrificing your own needs to revolve around a man for “God”

My friend used to work at a casino in Las Vegas. Cody came to her table. She said he was piss drunk and a sore loser. It is so easy to imagine Cody like that. 6:15. Look at Christine. My father was head of the house of eight people. He worked hard, made us laugh and taught us respect by example. My mother took care of the children and the house. They each respected and appreciated the other and made sure we all knew it. They were a team who understood each other’s strengths and weaknesses. I don't think that's it in this case. Janelle left Kody for a year early in their marriage because Meri was so mean and nasty. A bit shocking considering Janelle had been married to Meri's brother previously... She THOUGHT she knew Meri, but her true colors only came out AFTER she'd enticed her into becoming the 2nd wife.
